Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at tamara@utahlakedistributing.com if you have any other question or need further clarification.

We are generally available to meet at our office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To ensure we are not away in a meeting or on other business, please text or call ahead at 801-225-6746 before arriving. You may also schedule an appointment in advance to ensure we are available at a time that works for you.

You can find our certificate transfer instructions here.  Note that the original certificate must be submitted with a notarized signature on the back. These instructions outline what is required to transfer your shares and will be submitted with your transfer to instruct us exactly how to produce your new certificate.

Certificates cannot be reproduced. If you are unable to locate your certificate after thoroughly checking all possible locations, the only way to obtain a replacement is by securing a Lost Instrument Bond (also known as a Lost Document Bond). Once a bond is obtained for your shares, a new certificate can be issued.

For your convenience, a suggested insurance agent is Lamond Woods with Sentry West Insurance at 801-438-9953.

1 share of water from ULDC = 5.11acre ft of water per irrigation season. You can find a detailed breakdown of water delivery here.

The irrigation season typically runs from April 15 to October 15. However, due to weather conditions or other factors, the Company may begin the season later or end it earlier.

Assessments are levied once annually at the end of the irrigation season. As a nonprofit company, these assessments represent each shareholder’s proportionate share of the costs associated with operating and maintaining the company.

To ensure rules are applied equally to all shareholders, we do not remove late fees at the office upon request. If you believe there are extenuating circumstances that prevented you from paying on time, you may submit a written request for Board consideration.
